I am looking for a band that would have the courage and guts to play at The International Topfree Stand protest in Daytona Beach, Bikeweek 2009. It is a topless protest against Daytona and the state of Florida for their targeting of the American women's breasts for arrest. I have successfully fought and won the right for women to protest these arrests, topless, in Florida. I have two Appellate Court wins against the city of Daytona Beach that will protect us in this format forever more. I have only recently decided to introduce music to the protests. My 2008 Topfree Stand protest was a victory dance for all of the women who come to Florida and choose to be topless. It Rocked! The venue I have chosen to use is a park on the west side of the Main Street Bridge in Daytona Beach. It is the perfect place to protest and to play. It was estimated that there were 15,000 people who caught the protest last Bikeweek. If you have an interest in possibly playing for the event this upcoming Bikeweek please let me know. Excellent. I have been trying for years to put together a project that was something like Skynyrd/Blackfoot meets Godsmack with a touch of Leadbelly. Good to hear something a bit heavey, but also, never loses it's roots. Very driven, but still has that ' slap yer hooker in th' ass' aggression. Nice job y'all. - guest 04/03/06
